Library and Learning Services (LLS)
Library and Learning Services (LLS) consists of the University Library, Learning Technology and Learning and Teaching Enhancement teams.
The Library provides access to print, online and multimedia resources, including University generated research output, adaptable and IT rich learning environments, including silent and group study spaces, and expert help and support in finding and managing information.
Learning and Teaching Enhancement includes academic staff development, learning design, Learning Development offering flexible opportunities for students to develop their academic skills including writing essays and dissertations, critical analysis, presentations, maths and statistics and Educational Linguistics, including support for English language.
Learning Technology manage, develop and support NILE, the University’s virtual learning environment, and offer expert help and development in the use of technology in learning and teaching.
LLS also contribute to the academic output of the University through research and professional engagement, involvement in local, national and international communities of practice and an enthusiastic embrace of community engagement.
