New link forged with top Vietnamese university
Date 26.07.2017
26.07.2017The University of Northampton’s Institute for Social Innovation and Impact has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Economics University (NEU), Hanoi, Vietnam.
The link follows a visit by NEU staff to the University in March to learn more about our research and Changemaker Campus status, and signals a commitment to supporting each other in research, teaching, and knowledge exchange.
The Institute’s Dr Richard Hazenberg will also act as a strategic advisor for NEU’s new Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
This agreement furthers the University’s internationalisation agenda, and specifically the Institute’s work in Vietnam, where it already has a strategic partnership with Vietnam National University in Hanoi.
Speaking about the new partnership Dr Hazenberg said: “We are thrilled to have signed this agreement with NEU, one of Vietnam’s leading Universities and one that is committed to delivering social impact within its local community.
“We believe that this partnership will allow us to significantly build on our existing work in Vietnam, and to jointly learn together through innovative research and teaching.”
