Horror of childbirth to be explored during research seminar

Childbirth and parenting in horror texts and a pioneering psychoanalyst are the subjects of two research seminars to be held at the University of Northampton.

On Wednesday 21 February, there will be a live Skype seminar with Dr Angela Sells, author of a new text on the first female psychoanalyst, Sabina Spielrein. You can find out more about the book here.

The seminar, which has been organised by Dr Jasmine Shadrack, takes place on Wednesday 21 February, at 7pm, in room MY35, Maidwell building, Avenue Campus.

The following week, doctoral student at University College London, Amanda DiGioia will be talking about her new text, Childbirth and Parenting in Horror Texts.

Both seminars are open to staff and students at the University of Northampton, plus students studying literature, psychology, media and film, sociology, social sciences at local Further Education colleges and schools.
