Corrine snaps purrrrfect pawtraits for local charity

University of Northampton photography student Corrine is helping animals find their furever home.

Working with the Northamptonshire charity, Animals in Need, Corrine is snapping pictures of small animals who are desperately in need of a new home.  The charity has been helping sick, injured, trapped and distressed wild and domestic animals across Northamptonshire for over 20 years, and for the last two years Corrine has been volunteering with them.

Corrine said: “I love animals. I started off volunteering with Animals in Need, caring for the animals, cleaning out hutches and giving the animals some love and attention. My passion is photography and after getting to know the charity and the animals, I knew my photography skills could be put to use helping these adorable furry friends find a home.”

Aimee Nelson, volunteer at Animals in Need said: “Corrine’s animal photography is wonderful, she manages to capture the characters of the animals in our care, which really does help with our rehoming activities.”

Corrine West was recently named in the top five ‘Best Photographer’ category of the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2018.
