Brady’s band make it three big awards in a row

One of the hottest metal bands on the music scene have scored an impressive hat-trick, after being nominated for three major awards.

Conjurer, who feature University of Northampton graduate Brady Deeprose on vocals and guitar, are on the shortlist for both the Kerrang! Awards and the Heavy Music Awards.

The nominations come hot on the heels of a nomination in the Metal Hammer Awards, which saw Conjurer narrowly miss out on the Best New Band gong.

Brady said: “Along with the Metal Hammer Awards, these are the only two awards which recognise rock/metal music in the UK – and we’re the only small band to be nominated in all three.

“It’s quite humbling for us. The Kerrang! award nomination was via a public vote, and the Heavy Music Award finalists were chosen by a panel of music industry professionals.”

He added: “While we didn’t win the Metal Hammer award, we did get into the top three, and were the only British band from our category to do it.”
