Adam has worked extensively with children and young people from the Early Years to Post-16 Education. His vocational background includes working with children and young people who have experienced adverse home lives, this includes young people who had experienced sexual violence and alcohol dependency. More recently Adam has taught and trained Teaching Assistants and Early Years Educators whilst they undertake their foundation degree so they can qualify as Teachers in the Primary sector. Adam’s research interests include the digital realities of children and young people, namely social media and online networks. Moreover, Adam is deeply interested in social class and its relationship with inequality, social mobility and widening participation.
