Missed Northants’ digital festival? Catch up here

Date 23.06.2021

If you missed Northamptonshire’s 2021 edition of its annual digital festival, you can now catch up online.

#MergedFutures3, which took place on Friday 18 June, is a once-a-year tech innovation showcase organised by Digital Northampton, which was co-founded by the University of Northampton.

From digital arts to digital learning to esports performance management, #MergedFutures3 had it all. The celebration of the digital scene across Northants spanned nine virtual rooms with 22 different speakers and more than 400 registered attendees.

The Federation of Small Business kicked the day off with a networking breakfast, talking about digital skills and cyber security. This was followed up with discussions on how we drive investment into our digital economy, led by the University’s Lecturer in Digital Marketing, Ken Punter.

Festival-goers heard how Voi e-scooters are transforming travel habits and how Starship Delivery robots are delivering lunch to our doors.

A light was also shined on the innovation taking place at the University of Northampton and the tech businesses doing great things on our door step.
