Social Life

A huge part of coming to university is the social life. You’ve got the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy hobbies old and new, and sample everything the local area has to offer. As well as the on-campus social life, you can get to just about everything in Northampton town centre on foot from Waterside – whatever you fancy is right on your doorstep.

On campus there are a variety activities and events to get involved with, whether it be a night in with a pizza with your housemates or heading to the Waterside Bar and Restaurant for drinks and arcade games – there is plenty to keep you entertained besides your study. Students can also engage in weekly events taking place in the Waterside Bar and Restaurant, it is a great way to meet new people, have a laugh or try something new.

As well as all the fun things, we also provide a supportive environment for you, so that your life at university is as smooth as possible. We understand that for a lot of people, coming to university is a massive step and we’re here to help, whatever you may need.
