Northampton Sports Facilities

As well as our excellent sports facilities on campus, there are a variety of sports teams which reside in the county. Franklin’s Gardens is home to the Northampton Saints rugby team, Sixfields stadium is home to the Cobblers football team and the Northamptonshire County Cricket Club can be found at the County Cricket grounds.

Watching sports not your thing? We have a local partnership with Trilogy Leisure, which is only a 5-minute walk from Waterside Campus. They offer a generous student discount scheme and a range of fitness facilities across various locations in Northampton. For additional information, visit the Trilogy Leisure website.

Students can enjoy a walk amongst the serene surroundings of the green space and beautiful parks across Northamptonshire. Beckets Park is only a 2-minute walk from Campus and is a great place to enjoy a casual stroll, feed the squirrels or to simply detox from university stresses.
