Future Focused Education and Innovative Pedagogies
Overview
This 10 credit module considers the cutting-edge of educational practices, exploring how to create more engaging, equitable, and impactful learning experiences. You will examine emerging trends and consider their future implications as well as considering what innovation means for education and your role. You will have the opportunity to develop your theoretical knowledge and explore practical applications to practice. The course will enhance your ability to critique innovation with confidence, and support you in developing pedagogy and future-focused education to address real-world educational challenges.
This module can be taken as standalone CPD or as part of the Education MA. If taken as standalone CPD, students can choose whether or not to complete an assessment and gain 10 credits towards an MA. Please contact CPD@northampton.ac.uk for more information.

Entry Requirements
To study this Level 7 module, you will need an honours degree, usually at 2:2 or above, from a UK institution or equivalent.
If you have other qualifications and recent professional experience of three years or more, you will also be considered. In this case you may be interviewed and asked to demonstrate that you have engaged with the broad field of education at graduate level or equivalent.
