Our Music teaching is the best in the UK according to Guardian league tables

Satisfied students have rated Teaching on the University of Northampton’s Music degree courses as the very best in the UK.

The Music department has been ranked number one for satisfaction with teaching in the Guardian University League Tables 2017 – beating off competition from 79 other institutions across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The department has also broken into the top 50 university music departments in the UK for the first time, was placed sixth in the Student Satisfaction with the Course category and fourth for Student Satisfaction with Assessment and Feedback.

Acts from the University will have their own a stage at this year’s Northampton Music Festival, located at the Albion Brewery, Bridge Street, on Sunday 19 June between 1pm and 7pm – entry is free.
