The University of Northampton’s innovative £330m Waterside Campus development will transform a 58 acre brownfield site along the River Nene into a vibrant cultural and social attraction, drawing in students and visitors from across the county and further afield.
Each month, new aerial footage gives you a bird’s eye view of progress at the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus. Current work on site includes:
- Development of existing A428 Bedford Road including a new traffic light controlled junction into the Campus
- Further development of the new highway bridge linking the A428 to the Campus to the east of Midsummer Meadows car-park
- Further development of the new pedestrian bridge linking Beckets Park to the new Campus
- Instillation of precast concrete piling for the Creative and Learning Hubs.
