University shares plans for the future development of Avenue Campus

The University of Northampton has received planning permission to build an exciting new Waterside Campus in Northampton’s Waterside Enterprise Zone.  As part of our relocation, the current Park and Avenue campuses will be made available for redevelopment.

To support our relocation, the University is sharing its plans for the future development of Avenue campus at two public consultation events.  These events will be held at:

Newton Grand Hall, Newton Building, Avenue Campus, St Georges Avenue, NN2 6JD

On: Monday 16 March from 5-8pm and Tuesday 17 March from midday to 3pm.

Professor Nick Petford, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton said: “The Waterside campus is a hugely exciting development for the University and the town.  We are making excellent progress with the new campus, scheduled to open in 2018.  The relocation from our current campuses provides the opportunity for redevelopment of these.  We hope members of the local community and other interested people will join us at these events to help shape our plans.”
