The University of Northampton consults on the future development of Park Campus

The University of Northampton has submitted an outline planning application to build an exciting new Waterside Campus in Northampton’s Enterprise Zone. Subject to consent of the Waterside planning application, the University proposes to vacate its current Park Campus in 2018, with the land being made available for redevelopment.

To support this move, the University is sharing its plans for the future development of the campus at two public consultation events. These are being held at The Pavilion, Park Campus, The University of Northampton, Boughton Green Road, Northampton, NN2 7AL on:

Wednesday 13th November from 12pm to 8pm
Thursday 14th November from 4pm to 7pm

Professor Nick Petford, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Northampton said: “The proposed Waterside campus is a hugely exciting development for the University. If the development progresses as we hope, we will move out of Park Campus in 2018. This provides an opportunity to redevelop Park campus and offer alternative use for the local area.

We hope our neighbours at Park and other interested people will join us at these events to help shape our plans.”
