The University has been awarded an International Safety Award with Merit (with a score of 53 out of 60). This was the University’s first attempt at such a prestigious award, and is a terrific achievement and testament to how the University currently manages health and safety. The award provides a great benchmark from which we will be able to further develop and strengthen the management of health and safety within the University.”
Paul Bradley, Health & Safety Manager
Applications for the International Safety Award are marked by one of four independent adjudicators who are members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), appointed and trained by the British Safety Council.
