Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology accredit University’s Architecture Technology course

​The University of Northampton’s School of The Arts Architectural Technology course has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology (CIAT).

This accreditation by CIAT shows that the Architectural Technology degree has been assessed for its content, structure and resources, against standards set by the Institute. The Accreditation is a seal of approval for the way in which the Architectural Technology course delivers academic, analytical, communication and employability skills.

James Engel, Subject Leader for Architecture and 3D Design said: “I’m very pleased that the Architectural Technology course has been accredited by CIAT. This is recognition of the work that the academic staff have undertaken in creating a course which is academically excellent. In addition, CIAT’s accreditation acknowledges how we develop students employability skills through live projects, work placements, internships and our contact with leaders in the Architecture Industry.”​
