Mike Britton, founder of Goodwill Solutions CIC, said: “I am delighted that Goodwill Solutions CIC has been recognised through this award. It is really unexpected and I would like to thank our customers, the University of Northampton, the judges, and our service users for helping us to achieve recognition for our innovative social business.”
Goodwill Solutions CIC adopted Hemmingwell Community and Skills Centre in 2016 and manages the centre which brings education, training and social activities to the Rixon ward in Wellingborough. It has also supported Northampton Borough Council in the opening of a new night shelter launched to end the need for rough sleeping in the town.
