Sports Hire and Hotel Parking
If you have hired our sports facilities (MUGA, Sports Dome or 4G Pitch), you can park in Car Park One at Waterside (Bedford Rd, NN1 5PH), for the duration of your hire with no preregistration necessary, just pay when you park.
The tariff is below and you can use the payment machine (card only) or RingGo app/phone/website (24700 Monday – Friday / 24701 Sat – Sun).
Blue Badge holders are exempt from parking charges at Waterside. However, we do ask that you display your badge in the windscreen and register your vehicle with us so we can tell our enforcement company that your car is exempt from payment. Please email your vehicle reg, make and colour along with a photo of your Blue Badge to parking@northampton.ac.uk soon after your stay.
Once we have processed your ‘permit’, we will delete your email details.
Sports Hire Parking Tariff
Monday to Friday:
- Free for first 30-minutes in any day (to allow equipment drop-off/pick-up)
- £1.00 for up to three hours
- £2.00 for three to six hours
- £3.00 for whole day (between midnight and midnight)
- £0.50 for evening only (5pm to midnight)
- £0.50 for overnight only (midnight to 7am)
Saturday and Sunday:
- £1 for the whole day (between 7am – midnight)
Bank Holiday and Closed Day:
- Free all day
Sunley Hotel
Guests at the Sunley Hotel are entitled to free parking for the duration of their stay on a first come, first served basis. Please request parking when you make your booking. The Sunley car park is Car Park Three (NN4 8RP).
If you do park on-site, please ensure you provide your registration at reception when you arrive (tablet at the main desk).
