Support For Educators

We are offering Preparing Candidates For Practice In The UK sessions to NHS Trusts and Agencies only. This course will enable you to understand how the Test of Competence is administered and the assessment criteria, assisting you in preparing your candidates for the OSCE.

Workshops are suitable for:

  • Practice Educators supporting Internationally-recruited nurses and midwives
  • International recruitment leads (organisational or regional level)
  • Colleagues supporting Internationally-recruited nurses and midwives through pastoral care and OSCE development programmes
  • Anyone wishing to meet and network with people who are involved in OSCE training

Find out ways to:

  • Support candidates to develop resilience during their journey through the test of competence
  • Apply the educational theory and key principles of simulated-based OSCE education
  • Design your own OSCE training programme to prepare your OSCE candidates
  • Enable you to discuss your concerns and questions about the exams
