    Description: This module examines key events of domestic and international political history, in order to examine both the background factors which led to their occurrence and to the future consequences that they contained. Drawing on a variety of different perspectives, interpretations and sources, students will learn to deconstruct popular political narratives and gain a deeper insight into the way in which academic understanding differs substantially from non-academic thinking about politics.
