    Description: Nurses will, by the end of the module, be able to use their assessment skills and knowledge to enable them to care for a patient who?s condition is deteriorating whilst in their care on a ward in an acute hospital. The module will cover a range of conditions that could lead to a patient deteriorating and needing more care. Learning and teaching activities will give the students the confidence to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care they give to a patient who is becoming unwell, as well as the ability to communicate concerns with other members of the team who are caring for the patient in a confident and effective manner.
