FUSION Afrobeat & Reggaeton
- When: 20 September 2024, 7pm
- Where? The Engine Shed
Continue the Summer vibes of carnival on 20 of September 7pm at the Engine Shed, where African beats will meet the beats of Reggae with a melodic Latin Vibe.
Come along and experience a night of fun and non-stop dancing.
This International vibe is a great way to make new memories and form new friendships on the dance floor.

Wellbeing Walks

Led by our friendly Student Futures staff, this walk is the perfect opportunity to explore some of the town’s hidden gems, unwind in nature, and learn about the best spots to relax and recharge.
As we stroll through scenic parks and peaceful gardens, we’ll point out great places to grab a coffee, enjoy a quiet moment, or simply soak in the surroundings. Whether you’re looking to find your new favourite study spot or just want to connect with fellow students while taking care of your wellbeing, this walk is for you. Breathe in the fresh air, discover Northampton’s hidden gems and take some time for yourself. Let’s walk, talk, and find your perfect place to relax!
Outdoor Cinema – Jumanji: University Level
Get ready for a night of adventure and fun at Jumanji: University Level – our epic outdoor cinema and games event! Join us under the stars to watch Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, on the big screen, with all the snacks and thrills you could ask for. Before the movie starts, dive into some pre-cinema fun with Crazy Golf, inflatable axe throwing, and other exciting games that will put your skills to the test. Enjoy classic cinema treats like candy floss and popcorn, and don’t worry about missing a moment – headsets will be provided for the perfect viewing experience. Welcome Week is approaching, so it’s time to plan what activities you are going to attend. Welcome Week is a fantastic opportunity for new students to settle into university life, make new friends and get to know the staff. There are lots of activities on offer for you to take part in, here is what I would have chosen if I was attending Welcome Week.
Pizza and Crafternoon
If you’re a creative person (and a pizza lover), the Pizza and Crafternoon event is the perfect one for you. Relax with an afternoon of painting, crafts, meeting new people and enjoying delicious pizza!
Animal Therapy
Spend an afternoon with the animals, the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax! Spending time with animals is brilliant for wellbeing and helping your mental health. A great way to start your university journey!
Coffee Shop Crawl
Explore Northampton’s best independent coffee shops, a great way to find potential study spots or a place to catch up with friends.
