MA Social Work: To be eligible for the award in MA Social Work students must successfully complete 180 credits of compulsory modules. To be able to register with the HCPC and gain the protected title of Social Worker students must also pass SWKM018P (first year) and SWKM019P (second year).
MA Social Care: To be eligible for the award in MA Social Care students must successfully complete 180 credits from the above list. Gaining this award does not allow students to apply to register with the HCPC.
Postgraduate Diploma in Social Care: To be eligible for the award in Postgraduate Diploma in Social Care students must successfully complete 120 credits from SWKM011, SWKM012, SWKM013, SWKM014 and SWKM015. Gaining this award does not allow students to apply to register with the HCPC.
Postgraduate Certificate in Social Care: Students must successfully complete 60 credits from SWKM011, SWKM012, SWKM013, SWKM014 or SWKM015. Gaining this award does not allow students to apply to register with the HCPC.
#Optional modules. Students may choose one or both modules in addition to the compulsory modules.
