Students must take all modules, however, PCN level 3 certification (or equivalent) in a specific discipline would give an exemption to that specific module e.g. PCN Level 3 in Ultrasonic Testing would give exemption from ENG2038 Ultrasonic Testing. This could apply to ENG2036, ENG2037, ENG2038, ENG2039. A maximum of 2 exemptions could be given.

Students must take all modules, however, PCN level 3 certification (or equivalent) in a specific discipline would give an exemption to that specific module e.g. PCN Level 3 in Thermography would give exemption from ENG3012 Thermographic Imaging. This could also apply to ENG3014.  A maximum of 2 exemptions could be given.


Students who do not complete the Honours Degree will be eligible for an Ordinary Degree in the named subject upon successful completion of a minimum of 60 Level 6 credits. These can be from any Level 6 modules, whether identified as compulsory or designated.
