Students must have successfully completed 120 Stage 2 credits before progressing to Stage 3


Students who do not complete the Honours Degree will be eligible for an Ordinary Degree upon successful completion of a minimum of 60 Level 6 credits. These can be from any Level 6 modules, whether identified as compulsory or designated.  The name of the Ordinary Degree will differ from that of the Honours Degree due to professional body requirements.  Details can be found in the relevant Supplementary Regulations.

Students successfully achieving 120 credits are eligible for Certificate of Higher Education in Health and Human Sciences (aligns to level 4 Foot Health Practitioner in the Standards for the foot health workforce).

Students successfully achieving 240 credits are eligible for Diploma of Higher Education in Health and Human Sciences (aligns to level 5 Assistant Practitioner in the Standards for the foot health workforce).

Students successfully achieving 360 credits are eligible for BSc (Hons) Podiatry and HCPC registration as a Podiatrist. 

Students who do not complete the Honours Degree will be eligible for an Ordinary Degree upon successful completion of a minimum 300 credits including a minimum of 60 Level 6 credits. These can be from any Level 6 modules.

The name of the Ordinary Degree will differ from that of the Honours Degree.  Students successfully achieving 300 credits are eligible for BSc Health and Human Sciences. This is governed by professional body requirements and details can be found in the relevant Supplementary Regulations.
