David entered the games industry in 2013 working both in games companies and as a freelancer. In 2017 David moved into teaching Games Design and Games Programming.

He has experience in the industry both as a Games Designer and a Games Programmer and has a keen interest in design and technical elements of game creation.
David has worked both in further and higher education for games subjects. He was nominated for the BAFTA Young Game Designer Mentor of the Year Award in 2021 for inspirational teaching in the games sector.

David’s teaching specialisms are working with the Unity Game Engine, Game Console Development and XR technologies.
XR is the main area that David is researching and developing for. With the new technologies in this field developing at a rapid pace, he is keen to continue developing projects for this new field of study and technology.
