Mrs Dawn
Clements

Dawn was a student at Northampton University where she retrained to become a Social Worker. After working for a mental health charity, initially as a Mental Health Community Practitioner progressing to Professional Practice & Training Lead, Dawn joined the University Social Work Team in 2020 as a Social Work Lecturer and Placement Visiting Tutor.

Dawn is also a qualified Practice Educator (first and final placement) and Mental Health First Aid England Instructor.
Dawn is responsible for managing mandatory skills days and teaches across both the undergraduate and post graduate social work programmes. On modules such as:
- An Introduction to Professional Social Work Practice
- Preparing for Social Work Practice
- Professional Identity and Transition
- 70 Day Practice Placement
- 100 Day Practice Placement
- Dissertation Tutor
Dawn, along with the Placement Team also deliver professional courses and training and is a Professional Mentor Assessor.
