Fiona is a lecturer in physiotherapy in the Faculty of Health, Education and Society. Fiona gained her First Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham in 2014. Since qualifying, Fiona has worked clinically in the NHS for 10 years, specialising in respiratory care with a special interest in Critical Care Rehabilitation and Leadership.
Fiona has delivered on-call training to practicing physiotherapists including simulation training in addition to working as a clinical educator. Fiona has worked collaboratively with students in clinical placement and working physiotherapists to enhance both personal and professional development.
Fiona joined the University of Northampton in 2024 and brings her critical problem solving and creativity to the role.
Fiona is a practicing yoga instructor and enjoys running, playing chess and gardening in her spare time.
