  • Hamd Mohamed is a senior Lecture in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience in the UK and abroad with some significant industrial experience in the field of Radio Frequency Communication Engineering where he worked as an RF Network Planning and Optimization Engineer as well as RF Calibration Engineer at ZTE corporation and OTC Ltd respectively.

    He earned his BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Sabratha, Libya, in 2003; MSc degree in Radio Frequency Communication Engineering (RFCE) from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, in 2007; and PhD degree from the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom, in 2018.

  • Hamd has a broad teaching experience ranging from Radio Frequency engineering to electronic engineering as well as advanced maths, with a focus on analogue and digital Electronics, advanced digital electronics, electronics systems, and electromagnetism. 

  • Hamd gained good experience in research and demonstrated good research skills where he was able to publish good quality research papers. Best of his research papers was published in IEEE IEM with an impact factor of 13.59. His research areas are: Partial Discharge (PD) detection techniques, Software-Defined Radio (SDR) and localization algorithms.
