Qualified in London as an Adult nurse and worked for 7 years in various London teaching hospitals. Hannah started within cardiology for a year before moving to a cardiothoracic high dependency unit. From there she went on to become a research nurse for 3 years working on phase 4 clinical trials involving anti-hypertensive therapy and combination cardiovascular drug therapies. Hannah then returned to acute clinical practice working in an ED trauma centre before relocating to a DGH ED. After some time doing emergency nursing, Hannah worked in a duel role for 3 years within Rapid Response and Practice Development. She then discontinued the practice development part of her role to become an Advance Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner alongside Rapid Response before progressing into the world of academia.
