Staff Profile

  • Khaza joined the University of Northampton as a Lecturer in International Business in March 2024. Previously, he was a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where he also led the BA Business Management programme for two years.

    Khaza has over eight years of experience working in the public sector in the UK and teaching a wide range of business management modules (UG and PG) at a number of UK universities. He is a Fellow of UK Advance HE (FHEA).

    Khaza previously held visiting academic appointments at the University of St. Andrews and the University of the Arts London (2019-2024). He also worked as a Researcher for the Scottish Government (Corporate Analytical Services, Directorate for People) and as a Case Manager for the Department for Work and Pensions before embarking on a PhD at the University of Dundee.

    Khaza completed BA in Business Management from the Abertay University Dundee, MSc (with Distinction) from the University of Dundee and presently pursuing his PhD at the same university.

    Khaza is currently researching the role of corporate governance and stakeholder salience in emerging economies, specifically in the context of the garment industry in Bangladesh.
