Maria Correia is a Lecturer in Business Management at the Faculty of Business and Law. Before joining UON, she worked at Coventry University as a Lecturer in Project Management and Deputy Course Director for the BSc Project Management Integrated Degree Apprenticeship. Maria’s 20+ years’ professional experience includes diverse roles in banking industry, with a focus on customer relationship management, financial advice and quality and assurance processes. Maria is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy/Advance HE and a certified trainer in academic practice in Portugal (IEFP CAP). Her scope of research focuses on sustainability and cross-cultural management.
