Michelle is a qualified and registered social worker and probation officer. She has been a practitioner and manager in Children’s Services , Probation Services, NSPCC and CEO of a Midlands Training Consortium. She has been a social work academic at De Montfort, Birmingham universities before joining Northampton University. Michelle has been a practice educator for 30 years and has a keen interest in this area of work, which is reflected in her research and publications.
