Shahin’s teaching lies within the Strategy & International Business subject group, which encompasses many areas such as strategic management, international business strategies, corporate social responsibility, and business ethics. His research interests relate to ethnic entrepreneurship, specifically business practices within SME’s.
He is currently, and has been, involved in all aspects of academic quality and development, such as the design and validation of new modules and programmes, development of assessments, module leadership, and programme leadership.
Prior to joining academia, Shahin successfully owned and operated various franchises within the retailing sector that involved aspects such as start-up commercial business ventures, operational development, and expansion.
