Staff Profile

  • Stacie joined the University of Northampton in 2021 as a Senior Lecturer in Sport Business and Leadership and works within the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology. She is the Programme Leader for the BSc Sport Management and Leadership degree.

    Stacie began her studies by undertaking a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport Science with Management at Loughborough University. She proceeded to complete an MA in Sport Marketing and PgCAPHE from Coventry University. She also holds a Charted Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Diploma in Marketing and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

     

  • Stacie is currently Programme Leader for the Sport Management and Leadership course. She is the module leader for:

    • SPO1059 Introduction to the Sport Industries
    • SPO2043 Strategic Sport Management
    • SPO3010 Event Management in Sport
  • Following on from her PhD, Stacie’s research broadly lies in the area of policy implementation and compliance (primarily investigated within the sporting context). Specific areas of investigation include corruption and safeguarding in sport. More recently, Stacie has generated an interest in the topic of diversity, particularly within sport management education.
