Staff Profile

  • I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Alongside undergraduate degrees in politics/sociology and my Bsc In mh Nursing, I have also completed an MSc in Professional Practice incorporating a Pgce in practice education. I am a current fellow of the FHEA.  

    ​At the university of Northampton, I am a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing, Teaching on the Bsc pre-registration Mental Health Nursing course alongside a role in the practice element of the course as Mental Health practice lead.  

    ​I Joined the University Mental Health Pre-registration nursing team initially in 2017 as an associate lecturer then in 2019 became a full-time member of the Mental Health Nursing pre-registration team.  

    ​I have a background in Nursing working in Northamptonshire NHS Psychiatic treatment ward/ psychiatric intensive care units and predominantly as a Community Mental Health Nurse as part of a community mental health team.​
