A ‘reel’ good offer for Northampton students to design a film festival

Students with a ‘reel’ good eye for Northampton culture can put their talents to good use and sign up to spear-head a film festival, organised by a University partner.

ScreenNorthants are looking for town residents to form a committee tasked with designing and delivering the festival, which will be held in March 2019.

They are hosting a number of meetings over the next few weeks where anyone who lives in the town can come along and find out more about the festival and what support they will be able to give.

The meetings are open to all young people and not just those who are studying a film or culture related degree.

The first meeting will be held at the Screen Northants office at the Grosvenor Shopping Centre in town on Thursday 17th January at Screen Northants between 5pm – 7pm.

People are invited to attend part of the meeting if they can’t make the full duration.

Those who are outside of the 16-25yrs bracket but are interested in taking part are also welcome to come to the meeting or email the ScreenNorthants team.
