Bestselling author Richard Watson to show audience the future

The man who predicted the financial crash of 2008 a year before it happened will be speaking at the University of Northampton later this month.

Richard Watson is a futurist speaker and bestselling author who helps organisations to think about growth opportunities and risks – with high profile clients including Coca-Cola, General Electric, IBM, Ikea, McDonald’s, the Ministry of Defence, Samsung and Shell.

His work, which sees him predict future trends, was celebrated by the Independent in 2014, when the newspaper featured 14 of his most outlandish predictions.

Richard’s lecture is free and open to the public, with reservations on a first-come, first-served basis via the event website page.

It takes place on Tuesday 15 November, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm in the University’s Faculty of Business & Law at Park Campus. Refreshments and nibbles will be provided.
