Postponed: Fine artists bring their debut exhibition to Northampton gallery

Date 2.03.2020

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Desire and religious upbringings are the themes of a fine art exhibition coming to Northampton town centre.

University of Northampton Fine Art students, Valeria Medici and Ria Wilson, have curated their first joint exhibition, Covet, which runs at Intercession Printmaking Studio and Gallery from Friday 20 to Monday 23 March.

Valeria’s practice focuses on the externalisation of visceral experiences and sensations in emotionally charged compositions.

Ria’s practice examines the tensions of family history, mental illness, class, ritual, heritage, desire, and the relationships manifested from that.

The works presented are paintings and digital projections.

Covet launches on Friday 20 March, between 7 and 9pm. It is then open until the 23rd March, between 11am and 4pm.

Intercession Printmaking Studio and Gallery is an artist run, non-profit, self-funded, gallery space founded and managed by Pauline Wood.

It is located on the first floor of The Tower, Kingswell Street, Northampton, NN1 1PR.
