Our Vice Chancellor Professor Anne-Marie Kilday, Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment James Seymour and Senior Lecturer Dr Anthony Stepniak were interviewed by each outlet, with coverage on ITV’s website, BBC News Online, BBC Radio Northampton (starts 3hrs and 6mins in), BBC Radio 3 Counties (starts 1hr and 57mins – link expired) and NLive Radio (starts 1hr and 57mins).

Warwickshire World reports on new students coming to university in September, including Eleanor Flude who will start her esports degree.

In other news, Dr Drew Gray, Subject Lead for Culture, had a letter to The Guardian published about the effectiveness of prisons, sharing his views and historical insights about prison reform.

Associate Professor Dr Declan Ryan is quoted in a Northants Telegraph article about a new partnership to understand and monitor how green spaces are being utilised across Northampton’s Active Quarter.

The University has launched a free carbon calculator tailored for businesses and charities in the county as part of its ongoing Towards A Net Zero (TANZ) Northants project, as reported by the Northants Telegraph.

Senior Lecturer in Acting & Drama Owain Rose has written reviews for Theatre Weekly, critiquing Ghost Light: Between Fall and Flight at Underbelly’s Circus Hub on the Meadows and three plays at Summerhall – Weather Girl, ARCADE and In Defiance of Gravity.
