She has continued her regular stint on BBC Northampton’s ‘Wheel’s Week in Westminster, covering Sue Gray’s Partygate report, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak’s ‘Big Bazooka’ financial rescue plan and more. Returning after the Jubilee weekend, the main news on the agenda was the Prime Minister facing a no-confidence vote. Kate was back on the radio explaining what will happen and what this could mean to BBC Leicester’s Ady Dayman. Listen again here (starts 2hr 53mins). Midwifery students came up with eye-catching designs when tasked with creating the perfect birthing suite if they had a bottomless pot of money, as reported by News Anyway.

The second journal of Senior Lecturer Korrin Smith-Whitehouse’s Public Sector Poetry has been published, featuring work from teachers, doctors and nurses, as reported by News Anyway.

Student Caroline Sani won the People’s Choice trophy at the recent Fashanne Awards for her ‘found leather’ designs. She chatted with BBC Northampton’s Daisee Belle Downer about the inspirations behind her work. Listen again here (3hr 26min).
