Listen and learn – UON’s history experts launch podcast about the past

Two experts from the University of Northampton have launched a podcast which takes a closer look at history.

Senior Lecturers in History, Dr Paul Jackson and Dr Mark Rothery, released the first instalment of their Beyond Histories podcast this month.

Mark said: “We discuss current affairs through the lens of history. We have a wide and diverse range of guests on the show discussing the issues that matter to us all, as well as some more quirky historical content.”

Episode One explores the history of emotions and examines Mark’s work in the area and closes with the present COVID-19 crisis and the impact this is having on people’s emotions.
