Date 17.08.2020
17.08.2020We understand that 2020 has been an extremely difficult and uncertain time for all students, compounded by uncertainty about the appeal process regarding A-level grades announced on 13 August.
Following the Government’s announcement regarding A-levels today (17 August), we want to take this opportunity to reassure students looking to join the University of Northampton in September.
Applicants who have already had their place at the University of Northampton confirmed do not need to take any additional action – your place with us is secure and you can focus on the superb Student Experience that awaits you.
If your application with us was not successful, or you were offered an alternative course and you are now expecting your grades to be changed as a result of the announcement, then please note the following points:
- If you have access to evidence of your teacher assessed grades and/or your mock results then please contact us at admissions2020@northampton.ac.uk so we can explore your options further. If you do not have either of these yet, don’t worry. Contact us to discuss your options regarding studying with us.
- We will review all rejected, near miss or alternative course decisions made upon original notification of your results on 13 August. We will contact you directly to discuss your options and whether we can change our original decision.
