University of Northampton in top ten risers for Student Experience Survey

The University is now placed at 83, and is the eighth highest riser out of 105 universities.

Vice Chancellor Professor Nick Petford commented:

Rising 23 places in the THE Student Experience Survey 2012 is great news for The University of Northampton and complements our investment into the student experience, which includes multi-million pound developments to our buildings, facilities, and teaching and learning.

Recently we have announced new plans for the highest quality student accommodation in Northampton town centre, and we’ve significantly improved the experience in our Park Campus library, as well as enhanced buildings for our Schools of Education and Business.

Another highlight in the survey is we are the fourth highest university for students having a good relationship with teaching staff, which reflects the professional, friendly and helpful attitudes of our staff across our academic Schools.

The student experience is our top priority – we will continue to invest to give all of our students the best university experience from Northampton.

The University has also risen three places in the Complete University Guide 2012 reflecting the increased spend on facilities on campus and into the student experience, as well as an improved student/staff ratio.
