University of Northampton’s careers service is one of the best in the UK

Students have been so impressed with the University of Northampton’s careers service they’ve voted it as one of the best in the UK.

The University’s careers and employability service, the Changemaker Hub, has been ranked 16th best university careers service in the Student Crowd website’s University Careers Service awards.

Students from every university in the United Kingdom were invited to review their institution’s career service, with more than 7,300 taking part.

Mark Blaber, Employability and Enterprise Manager at the Changemaker Hub, said: “I am delighted that our careers service and whole Changemaker Hub team have been recognised in this way.

“To make the top 20 is a fantastic achievement and something we are very proud of. The service was voted for by students, there were over 7,300 votes, so it’s particularly nice to get the recognition from those that we are supporting and helping on their journey to employment.

“What we are doing is working and we continue to review our offer and deliver for both our students and the University. The aim now, of course, is top 10 next time!”
