University opens on-campus recruitment agency and hires two graduates in the recruitment team

Date 16.11.2015

The University of Northampton is pleased to announce that two University graduates have joined the recruitment team at Unitemps Northampton.

The on-campus recruitment agency opened its doors earlier this month, and has been busy cementing its place as the go-to recruitment agency within the town. The branch team is now fully in place and Unitemps are excited to welcome Charlotte Dix and Sonam Sherpa who started on 1 September.

Charlotte is a University of Northampton graduate and joins Unitemps as a Recruitment Consultant. She graduated in Music and Education Studies BA (Hons) in 2012 and has since taken a different career path in HR and recruitment, while still having a passionate interest in music. Charlotte will be consulting with hiring managers within local business to help meet their recruitment requirements.

Sonam is also a University of Northampton graduate and joins the team as a Recruitment Administrator. Sonam graduated in Journalism BA (Hons), also in 2012 and has previously worked within the University of Northampton in Admissions and as a Student Ambassador.

Helen Bodsworth, Unitemps Branch Manager commented: “I am delighted to welcome two Northampton graduates to my team. They have already shown vast amounts of enthusiasm and passion, both as Alumni of this University and for the temporary recruitment practice. I am looking forward to the start of term and continuing to build relationships with departments and local companies.”

The University of Northampton is committed to providing students with the opportunity to enhance their employability through internships, work placements and social enterprise initiatives. Statistics from the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey reveal that 96% of the University of Northampton’s graduates are in work or further study six months after completing their course.
