In November 2016, Dr Shaowei He was appointed the Ambassador for International Exchange by China’s Hunan Provincial government. This further develops the relationship between Hunan in China and Lincolnshire in Britain and contributes to the centre’s work in strengthening the South East Midlands trade and investment relationship with China.
