Welcome to BSc Accounting & Finance 2024.

The UON BSc Accounting & Finance degree is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to be an Accounting or Finance Professional.

Join our programme and start your journey towards a successful and fulfilling career in accounting and finance. In your first year you will do two core accounting modules – one on Financial Accounting and one on Management Accounting – these give you a foundation in the technical accounting skills that you will need, which you will then build on in year two and in the final year. Alongside these you will do four other modules that develop some of the wider skills you will need – digital fluency, business acumen, leadership qualities and ethical awareness. You will learn this in modules on financial skills for business, digital and economic environment, corporate and business law and responsible accounting.

Welcome and Induction Sessions

To welcome you our BSc Accounting & Finance degree, we would like to invite you to join in with our online welcome session leading up to your arrival on campus.

This is your induction timetable with an online session starting on 3 September at 4pm, and an in-person session starting on 19 September at 12 noon. The online event gives you an opportunity to get to know the Accounting tutors, as well as meet other new BSc Accounting students, helping you settle with top tips and what you need to know! Join us on Teams on the 3 September at 4pm. Next time we meet will be on campus in person on the 19 September  at 12 noon.
