Welcome to BA Criminology with Psychology 2024.

I am pleased to welcome you to our newly validated BA Criminology with Psychology programme at the University of Northampton. This course offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of criminology and psychology disciplines. During your time with us, you will gain valuable insights into crime, human and criminal behaviour, the operations of the criminal justice system as well as crime prevention strategies. You will also be equipped with transferable, critical, and analytical skills which are invaluable in navigating today’s complex social and criminal justice landscapes. Additionally, you will have free membership to the BSC as well as other perks at the university. Note: During the week, you should attend a ‘Library Quest’ session to help familiarise yourself with many academic resources available to you. You can do this in advance by booking on the LLS link. Alternatively you can simply go to the library help-desk on the second floor of the Learning Hub and sign up there.
