Strength and Conditioning MSc Welcome Pack
Welcome to Strength and Conditioning MSc 2024.
The MSc in Strength and Conditioning programme is designed to facilitate you to become an effective applied practitioner, by developing your coaching, academic and employability skills. Within the Northampton area there are many opportunities to gain applied practice and develop your strength and conditioning CV and foster strong links with industry professionals. In addition, the programme will prepare you to undertake accreditation from relevant Strength and Conditioning awarding bodies (UKSCA and NSCA).
The programme is highly practical in nature, enabling you to put theory into practice and develop yourself as a ‘critical informed practitioner’. Throughout your time on the programme you will develop training techniques and coaching skills, that will enable you to work with a range of athletes. At the University of Northampton, we have a purpose-built strength and conditioning gym and laboratories to enable you to develop your Strength and Conditioning coaching alongside our university sports teams, researchers and dedicated team of lecturers.
